We have some gigs coming up in the next few weeks. On Friday this week, we shall be playing at the Vic Inn, Derby. This will be a Listen to the Radar production and will cost three pounds, although the emergency budget will probably result in it costing three pounds and seventy pee, in real terms, so consider it an investment. See if you can tear yourself away from the 40 diagonal-inch array of glowing lights in the corner and those adverts for DulcoEase and luxury German cars, for long enough to see us, will you?

Watch out for further updates.

There’s a nice long review of our recent gig at the Still Dying All-Dayer at the The Central Music Venue, Nottingham, at studsandpunks.co.uk (scroll down for full review). Extract:

My apologies to The Maybeez for not staying to watch their set. I hope they got the reception they deserved, and going by what I saw earlier in terms of support for the local bands I am sure they did.

Bah. Detailed reviews of all the bands playing, except ours. When unobserved, does a rock band exist in all possible quantum states? This review offers the possibility that we got a good reception, but I guess you’ll never know.

I was going to use this as an excuse to publish an extract from a previous review, but it was so long ago that it has disappeared from the face of the internet.
